"Dr. Minasian is the best! He is one of only a few baratric specialist PCP's in Michigan. He is so caring and don't be surprised if you find that he spends 15-20 minutes talking to you. He actually cares about you and what's going on in your life. He's a great doctor."

"When I first met Dr. Dabideen he seemed very polished, very business-like. I told him that my PCP didn't "approve" of bariatric surgery. I also told him that my PCP equated it to having an abortion. Dr. Dabideen said, "Why because your killing fat?" I laughed so hard. He smiled. He seemed very personable for a surgeon. I am not looking for a song and dance, I want a good surgeon but a man with a sense of humor goes a long way. I am still getting through tests, I have my last one tonight...the dreaded sleep study. I am NOT looking forward to this. Once that is done, I have two pieces of paper to get and they will schedule my surgery date. I will let you know more about my surgeone as I go along. Dr Dabideen was an awesome surgeon, completing my surgery 12/17/03 in under an hour including an umbilical hernia repair. What a fantastic professional. He came by to see me at the end of a VERY LONG day to check on how I was doing. Very kind and considerate and very competent yet humble. He does not "show an attitude" and is very caring. You won't be in better hands than with him. I am thrilled and have lost 165 pounds. He is all that everyone said and more. I owe him my life and I will be forever grateful. "

"Not very good listener. P.A. is better listener and will actually look at you when you speak to him. The P.A. when told I was going to have WSL said that he is morally against it like he is also against abortion. The office staff is wonderful though. They have mailed me documents and bent over backwards to be helpful to me. Their paper gowns and blankets don't fit the obese and rip. It is very embarassing."
