Angel Susan Checking in....I just got off the phone with Beth,and she sounded Absolutely GREAT ! She said yesterday was rough,but she already feels much better today.She still has had nothing to eat or drink,and sounded a little dry,but said they gave her a small wet sponge-like thing to suck on,that really helped.They are getting her up to walk this morning too.She sounds very chipper and happy,and said to tell you all, it gets better each hour.I hope I do as well.I read some people's experiences on here and get real scared,then others seem real comforting too.I'm glad to know both.Thanks to all here on this site,I have been proud to be a part of this group.Beth still needs our Prayers,so keep them coming....more details later.Best wishes to all of you having surgery this week too.

ooops,I cant believe I posted another blank one...oh well, I'm still new at this computer stuff.A n y w a y s.....Here is an angel update on Beth.She is doing GREAT !!! No complications,and she is already out of ICU,and into a private room.Way to go Beth !!!!! You go Girl :)She was in surgery for a little over three hours,and only in recovery for three hours in the ICU.She's a real trouper.I hope I do as well when my turn comes.LOL Hang in there Beth,you know I love you dear friend.....ok,ok...I know what your thinking,"enough mush already",right?Well you deserve it girl.

Ok,it official,Beth has made it to the other side.She did great,and everything went well.She is still in recovery though,and will be for the next hour or so.I will post more details,as I get them.

Hey there! By the time you get this it will be done! I am so excited for you! Brings back memories of my own surgery 3 years ago this July. I'm plateaued here at 200#, but a far cry from 400#, right? Soon you will be posting your progress and remember I'm rooting for you. Love ya! And thanks for choosing to eat to live, not live to eat.

Hi,this is Susan Loomis. I'm Beth Snyders Angel,and I'm here to tell you that she is having her surgery,maybe as we speak.She was to be at the hospital at 7:30 am today.I am keeping her daughter for her this week,while she is there,and I also got to spend some time with her last night.I took her out to dinner at Valentino's Itialian Buffet,and then we went home to her house and watched a movie that I got.We had a great time,and talked alot about her surgery,and the future. She was in GREAT spirits,and very excited,and ready for the surgery too.Show please help me,by keeping her in your thoughts and prayers today,and for the rest of the weeks ahead too.Please sign her card,and post something on her surgery page too.I'm expecting a call after she gets out of surgery,from her friend who is there with her.I'll post again then. Well, Beth, it's been a YEAR since you first posted to this site and your time has FINALLY come! I wish you luck and healing energy for your procedure this week. It's all downhill from here, Baby!!!! Hang on and enjoy the ride!
