"I was so happy with Bellaire. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The beds are horribly uncomforatble, but so are all hospital beds. They don't let you get any rest, but no hospital does. They were very accomodating. I felt well cared for and respected throughout my stay."
"I changed to Dr. J and love it. His staff did all the work for the insurance. He is very thourough but won't do the lap. Oh well, nothing is perfect. I still would recommend either Dr. Moody, Dr. McFayden but Dr. J works better with insurance, especially Cigna.
I met with Dr. Moody today, 9 May 2001. He is wonderful, took time to talk, seemed interested and went through recommendations. His office staff is ok, but not at all helpful with insurance questions.
I met with Dr. McFayden on 31, May 2001. He will be doing the lap with Dr. Moody. He is very honest. Talked a lot about my responsibility to exercise and eat right so as not to stretch the pouch. He explained how the surgery is done, where the holes will be, recovery time. I like him as much as Dr. Moody. And he said he will be sending off something to the insurance about medical necessity but that they are notorious for not getting back quick answers. Although he has had them approve in the past."
