Hi All!! Whew.. I didnt realize how tough these first few weeks were going to be. The first week wasnt all that bad..but when my dr put me on "soft-foods" for the next 3 wks I thought Id pass out..but I made it! Easter was rather difficult, while my friends were having a wonderful ham dinner, I had some soup..I began to think "whaaat did I do to myself!" But, its all good! Well the 8th of April will be 1 month post-op and Im down 28 pounds!!!! (maybe I can lose the 2 pounds and make it to 30 before the 8th) Im taking things day by day and just as Ive been told.. things to get easier..it just takes time. Well take care all!

HELOOOOOOOOOOOOO ALL YOU AMAZING PEOPLE!!!! (I just did a back flip and landed in a split..ill re-play it..look closely LOL) Im sooooo grateful unto God for blessing me to make it through...with NO PROBLEMOS! : ) THANKS TO EACH AND EVERYONE ONE WHO THOUGHT ABOUT ME AND PRAYED FOR ME..your prayers reached heaven and I made it! (((all of you))) JASMINE!! WORDS CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE ALL THE TIME YOU AND INFO YOU HAVE GIVEN ME!! (I need to add few DIAMONDS to your wings..thanks girl). Im so glad I doing sooo well.. except that Im sleepy and the bed was the worst I couldnt get any sleep. My whole sleeping pattern is out of wack!!! I came home yesterday and thought..oooo goodie I can sleep in my bed but since I normally sleep on my stomach...I wasnt get gonna get any real rest for a while. :( Well..I guess I watch some TV! take care!!!

i just spoke to soba and she's doing terrific. she is in her room now. she took the leak test & passed with flying colors!! the bed is really uncomfortable (i remember it well). the good news is the uncomfortability is forcing her to get up and walk. she had a ng tube that was removed yesterday. my girl is ready to walk around the hospital and sit up in the chair. i'm so proud of her...

hi everyone! soba is still in icu but it is the hospital's standard procedure. i spoke with the nurses both yesterday and this afternoon. soba is sitting up and medicated. she received visitors this afternoon - yeah!! she will be in a regular room tomorrow.<p> congratulations soba! welcome to the other side.

soba is out of surgery!! i spoke with the hospital today. soba will be in intensive care for 2 days until they move her into her permanent room.<p> the nurse told me everything went well and she is in stable condition. i'm so glad for her...<p> welcome to the other side soba!! enjoy the ride!!
