Hi all. My name is Lauren and I am a friend of Margie's. I came down with the flu and wasn't able to see her in the hospital! Thank goodness her husband kept me up to date on how she is doing and here is the latest news so I can let all of you know who are probably wondering! Here is his email to me last night (Sunday): She was doing great today, at least compared to yesterday, it was rough. Supposed to be released early tomorrow (Monday), I'll be up to get her 9:00AM or so. If goes as planned she'll be home by noon. I am sure once she is up and about, she'll be happy to let you all know how she is doing! Thanks for your support. She is a great gal and I know you all wish her well! Lauren : )

Hi everyone. My name is Lauren and I am a friend of Margie's and she asked me to let you all know how she was doing. She had her procedure with Dr. Demerest, yesterday, September 7th, at University Hospital, Albuquerque, NM. I will report back more after I have seen her my self. The following is the email I got from her husband re her condition: Hi Lauren, Just wanted to let you know, I talked to Margie(and her nurse) about 10:30 PM (Friday, the 7th). She is doing real well according to her nurse. She's in room 641 and I'm sure will welcome company by tomorrow, kids and I will be up first thing in AM. I'm sure you'll let rest of group know.

Hi..I just wanted to say "good Luck" to you on your surgery. I had mine on May 15th and would do it over again in a heartbeat. It has changed my life.
