Hi, My name is Anissa. Im from Jersey City, NJ. I had Lap band surgery 10 years ago, Dec 2004, did great, weight went up and down but for the most part was ok with it. Last year I began to have issues to acid reflux, really bad. I went to a gastroenterologist, who in turn sent me for some testing only to find out my lap band was too tight. I went back to my Lap Band surgeon and explained what was going on. He completely loosened my bad and eventually I had surgery to unbuckle my band completely. At this point I had already discussed having the VSG done. So in April began doing all pre-op work for my surgery. I had my surgery May 8, 2015 and so far things are great....
