"Dr. Robert Davis and his staff is great! They work with my insurance which is Medicare and they have a whole Weight Management Program and Team at The Methodist Hospital and University General Hospital which includes a nutritionist, psychologist etc. There is an aftercare program and support groups available to all patients which they strongly encourage. Of course there are risks like with any other surgery, You just have to make sure the benefits outweigh the risks. Great bedside manner. I had a minor problem after surgery and Dr. Davis was very concerned, attentive and comforting. He takes the time to listen to what the patient is saying or asking and explains everything in detail. He does not rush you in and out like some doctors do. He does not try to \"talk\" you into one procedure or another. He just gives the facts and tells you in his expert opinion which procedure he feels is best for you if any. I believe the majority of their practice is devoted to bariatric surgery but Dr. Davis does many other surgical procedures.
