BEEN A LONG, LONG TIME SINCE I POSTED

I am 2 days & 1 month away from my 2 year anniversary from my RNY revision. I'm sorry I haven't visited to update my info. I guess the reason is that I AM WONDERFUL!!!! I got down to 114 last July, but am now at a normal 125 & holding. I go up & down from 124-129, but feel great. I dance 3-4 times per week & am performing for the first time with the Belly Dance Troupe I dance with next March 13th. We're making our Tribal costumes & learning a new dance that consist of 3 songs & last 14 minutes. I'm a little nervous & a little scared but can't wait to do it. I turn 50 on my 2 year anniversary in January & am going to have a 2 day blow-out party at the Blue Sky Room (our local restaurant/bar). It's going to be themed. Fri nite will be Prom Nite & Sat. will be 80's nite. I play pool & am doing great. Healthy as a horse.
132 POUNDS!!!!!!!

Well I went to see Dr. Higa on 6/25 & I weighed 136. He told me to forget about the goal of 133 lbs he set for me. He thought that 136 lbs was good enough for me. But I'm now down to 132 lbs. As you can see from my new picture in my yellow bikini, I am down low enough. I don't think I need to lose anymore. I don't have to go back to the doctors until 10/29. I'll be six months out the 16th of this month. Can't believe how time has flown by. I never thought that I'd get back down. Anyway, hope every one had a great 4th. We took our boat to Lake Siskiyou to watch the fireworks & my husband took the picture of me while I was sunbathing on the back of the boat. Take care.
ALMOST 5 MONTHS & STILL LOOSING

In 11 days it will be 5 months since surgery. I'm down 41 lbs. down to 136. My size six clothes are getting baggy. I see the 4's in my future. We went camping for Memorial Weekend on our new boat. Had a blast. We also changed our minds on the name. The guy's at the boat shop talked us out of naming her "Our Wet Dream". We chose the "Black Pearl" instead. It better suits her & us. Check out the new pic's. Can't wait for the next time we can take her to Shasta. We bought a big water toy called Big Mable. Seats 2. I can't wait to be towed all over Shasta on it. I also am waiting for 2 new bikini's from Venus to be delivered tomorrow. Oh! Yea! life is good!

We went to Redding Friday to go shopping & they were having a boat show at the Mall & when I went in to get my nails done, Steve, my husband, wanted to check out the boats since we've been talking about getting a new one. When I got done I went out to look too & we fell in love with a new 2007 Monterey 214FS sport boat. It was $40,000.00 but well worth it. We went to the dealership & 3 hours later it was hooked up to the back of our truck & went took it home. We spent all day Saturday 5/5/07 on Shasta Lake. I have the worst sunburn. Oh, yea, we names her, "Wet Dream". check out the pictures I just uploaded.
THREE MONTHS TODAY!!!

Today is my 3 month anniversary & I'm down 33 lbs. I would be happy if I lost 6 more lbs but my doctor wants me to lose 11. I'm supposed to go & see him Monday 4/23, but I can't take the time off work. There isn't anyone to cover for me. Well.......I hope I can reschedule it. This weekend is our first car show of the season/year. Kool April Nites in Redding. Till next time..............
IT'S BEEN A WHILE

Well, it's been a while. Me Bad:) I'm doing great. I'm now down 27 lbs. That means that I only have 10 lbs left. I'm almost back in my sixes. I have never felt healthier. I still have a problem w/ certain foods going down. But I think that I've only gotten sick once since my last post. I go see Dr. Higa 4/23 I think. Of course that is if I get the day off. Anyway, I'll try to update on a more REGULAR basis.

I'm so bad about updating. I wanted to on the 16th but was too busy. I went back to work 13 days after surgery. I had another post-op appt with Dr. Higa 2/7. I'd only lost 2 more lbs but that is ok with me. I need to lose about 17 more. I also wanted to get down to 125 & he said 133 would be my ideal weight for my height. I've lost a few inches, well quite a few & I feel wonderful. The day before my doctors appt. I had 10 teeth prepared for veneers & have temporarys on right now. My veneers are not back from the lab yet so I am pretty much still on a liquid diet. I can't bite or chew much of anything or I'll break the temps. I had my six top front teeth & 4 front bottom teeth prepped for the veneers. I hope that they're done soon. A person could starve:) I go back next month for another doctors appt. I figure since I only have 17 lbs to lose it's going to take me forever. The only thing I have a problem with is I try to drink too fast & get the hiccups. I've thrown up about 4-5 times. I can't eat hard boiled eggs. Soup is great & I drink about 3 protein drinks a day. I need to update my weightloss ticker again.

I made it. We just got back to our room. Surgery was a nghtmare. It took me 2 days to recover enough to feel like it was all worth it. I finally started coming around today. Haven't had any pain meds since 5:00 this morning. This one was much tougher than the first one & 100 times tougher than my tummy tuck in 2004. Still kind of groggy & have gas pains in my shoulder. I don't know why I have such a hard time waking up. Everyone at Clovis was great & I got to see Alice. She did so much better than me. I think she either went home this morning or last night. Dr. Higa was able to do the surgery lap. 5 tiny holes. Yea whoooo!!!!!!!!! If you ever have to have a revision expect it to be a little tougher. I didn't think they were ever going to cut me lose. The nurse told me at 2 that the doctor on call didn't want me to leave today cuz I had a high pulse, 110 or something. I told her that was normal for me. They did a CBC & it turned out normal so they let me go. I have post-op appt. next thursday 1/25 with my PCP & she'll take out my drain tube. Anyway, just wanted to say that I'm sprung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just made it to Fresno about 30 minutes ago. Thank you so much to my new friend & surgery buddy Alice U. She reserved a beautiful room at the Sheriton Hotel & we're waiting to meet for dinner. I would like to thank all of you who posted to my surgery page. This is the 2nd time around for me so it's not quite the same, the fears are still kind of there, but the plumbing won't be touched just the stomach. Hoping for only a 2 day hospital stay w/ no complications. Tomorrow at 2:00 are my pre-ops & surgery will be Tuesday at 4:15. Boy, that's gonna be a long day. My husband has come down with me to stay the few days I'm in the hospital, we're both on vacation. We'll head back home Thursday or Friday if everything goes well. He'll go back to work next Monday & I'm off until the 29th. Take care all & thank you again.
