90 day check up....

90 day check up... 51 lbs...  feeling realy good,,,  heck im not carrying around a 6yo child on my back anymore... and never will again.. oh i cant wait to reach my goal if i feel this good this far out...

Well July 2nd will be 3 months in.... Down only 41 bs... feeling good but getting discouraged...   alot of people are in their -70 lbs by now...  im plugging away.. hopeing slow and steady finishes the race...  im 248 lbs now... half way to getting to the onederland....  ugh.... cant wait.

My 6th week post op appt went well.. no problems..   no vomiting.. nothing... 
Weight loss.....  32 lbs to date...  Whoo Hoo!!.

Im feeling better everyday...

my diet and eating is going well..  found fruit doesntr agree with me very well..  but other wise..  

Tip also..

Weight Watchers has a new bread..  whole grain

For 2 slices..
Carbs only 17g 
protien 5g..  i only east one slice any with my egg salad..  but i thought that was awesome
And blue bunny no sugar added choclate rasperry pops...yummy...  great for the hot days of summer.

1 month post op.. current weight 258 this morning.  30lbs,,, and even better im am currently wearing my size 16 jeans...  
I have been slacking on eating though.   Not good Im really trying to eat protein...  just not hungry really..

Todays menu.

B- CheeseStick

L- Soy Hot dog... (not bad)  

Dinner so far...  2 cheesesticks..

Thinking about a yogurt..

Had a busy day.. had a double fatality car acciden to day it was great to be able to manuver around so much easier..  kneeling down and stooping .. it was great Im so happy i had this surgery...

Just another day, got home at 7 am and crashed them got up and spent the day with the kids...  going for a walk...  they really like this walking stuff all the time and then cleaned the house and floors...

WHat i ate today.

B- Cheese stick..  

S- 2oz turkey breast w/ 1 slice provolone

L- Low carb pizza made on a south beach wrap.. smothered on the sauce and mushrooms and ham and onion., and low fat cheese.

D-  1/4 cottage cheese with a canned peach.

S- 2 slices Mozz cheese ( ran out of sticks...lol)

Getting all my water in faithfully...  

Feeling good... deputy uniform is really getting loose..  pants are loose... can pull them off without buttoning...lol..

I came home from work aroud 7am this morning.. the kids and my husband where on the couch watching cartoons.. i took off my unifrom... and headed up the stairs... threw on a tank top and layed in bed in my underware and the tank top..  and went  to sleep.. (midnights stink),...  anyway.. he took the kids to daycare for 1pm and he came home and was getting ready for work.. When i awoke he was looking at me from across the room.

He said " I think we are going to have problems".... i was like what do you mean?.. and he said "  the sexier your looking the more i dont want to go to work and leave you home alone.."...  lol...  
He was talking non stop about my new "curves"  and my legs that are thinning and toning up...  

I just loved he was groveling on how good i am looking...
 ugh.. its great ... THANK YOU WLS........!!!!!

Today after i got up i ate 1/4 cup cottage cheese. with 1tbsp apple sauce.. no sugar added...

Snack.. mozz cheese stick... 

Lunch..   noodleless lasagna,,, really good  found the recipe on the recipe forum..

Dinner...  3 crab rangoon baked.. made also from the recipe forum..   reallllllllyy.... good.....
and a fudgicle...

snack while at work...   FF/ cool whip/ FF cottage cheese and Mandarine oranges mixed with a 1/2 a SF jello packet...

Yummy and of course a few more cheese sticks...

and water water water......

not to bad..  thanks to the help on here... with the recipes ...  i now can have something other than yogurt,,, lol

Got my staples taken out... which felt great to have them out...  and drum roll please...... 24lbs downs officially...  and get this...

BMI starting...  51.0
BMI now ........45.0  !!!!!!

I was so surprised...  My uniform for work is feeling nice and loose now.. rather then before when it was hard to breath wearing it.   And to my appoint ment i wore my size 18 jeans,,,   I wore a size 22/24 to the hospital the day of surgery.  Ahhh.... its great to be on the loser bench...  and yesturday i passed my nationals for Paramedic...   its a good week a very very good week....

Missed my 2 week checkup

I missed my 2 week check up had to work... so it will be almost a 3 week check up before i can get in to see the Dr. and the Dietician.  But good news...

stepped on the scale this a.m.

264lbs.... down from 288 Whoo Hoo 24lbs and already am wearing 1 size smaller....  I have the all the clothes in every size until i reach size 14...lol...   then i can start shopping again.

Im feeling really good... need toget the staples out they are bugging me.. 
My favoite meal righht now is 

3 tbsp of Egg Salad and 3 soda crackers.

And im full and it doesnt make me uncomfortable... plus you can jazz it up anyway you like.   
Hot sauce, mustard, paprika, onion salt....yummy....

and SF/FF fudgeciles...yummy...a good treat before bed instead of my quart of ice cream i used to have...
ugh...
 Not having to much of a prob being head hungry lately..been trying to keeep busy...

Tomorrow is my 2 week check up.  Im excited to get the staples removed and see how much i have "officially" lost Im expecting around 25lbs.  give or take...  I ahve been doing relaly well with food tolerances... such as milk and smaller things...  like a craker and such..  I have to remind my self though often about how much i can actually eat.   My mind is still thinking big while my  stomach says another thing....
I did my first "out of town" trip this past week.. did really good stuck to soups and brought my own pudding and yogurt snacks.. And i really have to kick my self in the butt on the protein thing...  ugh...  
I have one supplement i like and its fruity flavored so i put it on my yogurt...  But in anything else...yuck.   I have to figure oiut a way to carry the protein supplement with me though...  so i dont forget it...

Egg beaters are realy good scrambled and I like to make up some egg salad and a few crackers... Im still on pureed food... so maybe after he 2 weeks i can try the real stuff...  but other wise feeling great i am gaining strenght and energy everyday.. trying to get my mile and halg walk in everyday too...
Plus by the way i am offically a paramedic!!  I just took my last test lastnight...  Im so excited...  now in a few months ill be a hot paramedic..lol....

Well still a little sore.  But moving more and more.  Switched to liquid tylenol and leaving the liquid hard stuff for at night as needed.  But my BP i am monitoring daily along with Fasting Blood sugars.  But im wondering if it normal to have a spike in Blood sugars.  I normally havent had a problem with my actual sugar readings i usually take the meds for the insulin resistance.  Usually my insulin levels are out of wack not my blood sugars.  
I think ill post on one of thses boards to find out if its happened to anyother.    
Im sticking to my full liquids really well...  having a hard time though missing food.  I guess i didnt realize how much of my life it was....  I cant wait till the soreness is gone so i can get out and workout.  That will help occupy the hands and mouth...   right now this hanging around the house with the family is hard...  But i can make it my determination is greater then this....

BP was 114/76   and FBS 85   BS after dinnner  (vegitable soup) 164....
