I have been overweight as far back as I can remember. Morbidly obese for the past 11 years. I have been to many surgeons in the past 8 years. When I first started researching my only option was the bypass. At that time I was in my early 20's with a baby at home. Needless to say, the surgery scared me. Now 8 years later in February of 2010, I met my surgeon at one of his seminars. The following day I made an appointment, and so thats where this journey begins. My insurance required six months of a nutritional counseling, and finally had my surgery date of December 22, 2010.
Fast forward two years. In December 2012 I started having problems with my band. Too tight, too loose, then tight again where I couldn't keep anything down. I got a complete unfill in January, and had a lot of acid reflux. So with my doctors help we begin the process of a revision to the sleeve.
