This has been a journey indeed. I am still trying to accept all the weight I have lost. I have got so much more confidence and self esteem about myself. The decision to help save my life was the best one I could have ever made. I never thought the only thing I could complain about is having to buy clothes.  I have truly embraced this New Beginning I have now.

This has been a trying week. I have had the worst gas known to man that I could not get to past. I end up in the hospital sunday night not knowing if I was having a heart attack. My chest was hurting so bad I could not stand up, the fetal postion was best for me. So I went to the hospital and thank God it was a false alarm. It was just gas and I was dehydrated. The doctor told me to get some Mylacon drops or Gas X. Well Gas X has been my best friend. Today was the first day that I didn't have to take any pain meds and I felt really good. Thank God. I am happy to say though I have lost 12lbs  I can't weight to go to my post op so I can get back in the gym. I am not going to have these batwings I here people talking about. lol

Hello everyone, I had my RNY on 7/21/2011. It was a success. After I woke up in recovery I was having some major chest pains. They quickly did a EKG and drew some blood to check the enzymes in my blood. Thru the blood test and EKG they didn't find anything wrong but put me on a heart monitor just in case. Well for the last couple days i have been experiencing alot of pressure in my chest. the gas you get from this surgery is unbelievable. At first I went thru many different emotions about the surgery but you know God does everything for a reason. I had a ECHO graph of my heart done on yesterday and the results came back today to show that the left ventricle of my heart is enlarged and very weak. I have never had any know problems with my heart of any symptoms to say there was anything wrong with it. But luckily with this surgery I was able to find that out before it was to late. Now I have to take medications to help repair my heart. I pray the the Lord works everything out for the good.
