Here is a lil update. I haven't been on in a while...sorry. I've just been going through a lot of personals things in my life that hasn't been so great. So far I'm 10lbs from "onederland" and very happy about it (I know I don't look it frm the pic)! This was on Thanksgiving Day. Stay tuned....

Today I had to put down my baby Muff

They couldn't get it under control and said there was an underlaying issue. She was getting worst by the hour. She need futher testing that I could not afford, I had already put out $400. I didn't want her to suffer anymore. I feel so sad as if I lost a child but you she was my baby. It was so hard to make that decision. I know she's in a better place and no longer suffering . I love her with all my heart

I know I haven't updated since my surgery. I was doing bad with my diet and felt too ashamed to post. I felt like a failure. I'm currently at a stall. Can't seem to get below 270lbs. I am 17 days out. At my post-op appt. this past Wed I was told I lost 20lbs. but I'm not sure from what date. With all that's going on now. I don't know how I'm going to deal with this wls....

I'm so excited, nervous, elated, terrified and happy all at the same time. I was given the good news all in one shot of contacting my surgical coordinator today. It was exactly one week ago today that I finished all of my clearance testing and meetings.
I was a lil on edge and impatient so I called her to find out if she heard anything from my insurance co. She put my on hold which seemed like an eternity. Came back to the phone and said, " yes they approved you for the sleeve". Omg I wanted to scream!!! But I calmly said, "ok". She said well let's set you up for your surgery date.
So skipping right along, my date is scheduled for March 22 2011.
