Wow..this is embarrassing...

Jun 10, 2009

I haven't updated in over a year.  So:

BYPASS REVISION one year later: according to the scale I've lost 90lbs.  I look in the mirror and still see a heifer, because 'numerically speaking,' I should have 100 more to lose.  I know 90lbs is nothing to sneeze at, but again, looking in the mirror just reminds me how out of hand it got after the first surgery.  Working against me is the fact that I'm wheelchair bound, so I can't exactly jump up and run a few laps around the neighborhood.  And, my job (and particularly those I work for) have likely gotten me cranked  up into an ulcer; I've been having severe pain / inability to eat from nausea.  I really need to be seen by someone and get an upper GI immediately, but things are such at work where people are over-leery of asking for ANY time off.

BUT...anyway.  Ninety pounds and at least 90 more to go.  Yeehah.
