WOW! How time flies!  I am soooo confident and happy!  Everyone sees a beautiful independent happy confident person!
The thing that bothers me the most still is that everyone is complimenting me how pretty I look "now that I lost weight".  I always felt that I was a beautiful woman, no matter what size I was, and Im nnot really sure why it bothers me that people think im pretty "NOW THAT I LOST WEIGHT".  I am still in denial about how much weight I actually lost, and probably because It came off so fast...I was still wearing my size 14's when one of my friends called me saggy pants girl.  So we went shopping and i couldn't believe it!!! SIZE WHAT??? 10's people YES! SIZE 10!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!

Eating has become so much easier, although most of my diet consists of chicken, fish and vegetables, and no bread (except for a half of piece of pizza once a week)  I do find that im being a little more daring with certain fattier foods, but I limit myself to 1/4 of the portion, and practice the hardest thing ever CONTROL.

Hey everyone! Feeling great!!! Stil working on some challenges with food, but I think everyone knows how that is.  I was having some problems with food feeling like it was getting stuck, but those seemed to subside.  I also think I was having lots of anxiety when I ate, which was causing me not to want to swallow food.  Any who....i am so happy with the success of my weight loss.  Im out 3 months tomorrow and have lost a total of 68lbs!!!!  WOOHOO!

Hello Everyone!
I know its been a while since my last post.  Surgery went well, aside from a few complications that I was not expecting.  One word of advice....YOU CAN ONLY TELL HOW YOUR BODY IS REACTING...IF YOU DO NOT FEEL RIGHT, PLEASE KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOUR SURGEON AND TELL HIM OR HER!!!  I wound up back in the hospital exactly one week after surgery with a small bowel obstruction.  I only knew that something was wrong when I could not hold fluid or anything down and was in a lot of pain everytime I drank something.  I feel great now, back to work finally!  I get tired around 3 or 4PM every day, but Im sure that will pass....I have lost 40 or so lbs to date.

So, I have 2 days left! Yesterday was my pre-surgical testing at Mercy Hospital.  It was longer than expected, but EVERYONE was SOOOOOO NICE!  The staff there is amazing, the staff working with Dr. Garbers Team  are so knowledgeable!!!  I feel so at ease today.  I am so psyched and ready to go!  I had my medical clearance today as well.....so everything is good!  My surgery is scheduled for 8am on Monday 3/30!!!!!!!!

I am so happy I searched this site and found some "friends" along the way.  It is really helping me with my nervousness...Im not showing im nervous on the outside, but my stomach is a MESS!!!!!  2 more full days at work and my vacation starts.  I dont think i have been this excited, happy & nervous since my wedding day!  Well, I'll post more towards the end of the week, but mostly THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR WISHES AND SUPPORT!!!! 

I am so excited and nervous at the same time.  Just got off the phone with my surgeon's physician's assistant, and she told me that starting today, I have to discontinue the use of advil, motrin, alieve, etc.  She also told me that my pulmonologist still has not sent in the consultation letter.  Why????? I called and asked his secretary 3 times.  Im not happy about that.  We'll all is well, and hopefully I can get to the Pulmonologist  to stick my foot up his secretary's butt and get my letter!!!!!!!

I am so excited.  After all my appointments and following my health insurance guidelines, I've been APPROVED!!!!
March 30th 2009 is my surgery!!!!
