Well it's been awhile lol .. I am almost nine months out now from my lap-band surgery I have lost a total of 117 pound i still need to lose 55 more pounds to be at my goal but i know i will get there . Just wanted to up date everyone on how i have been doiong. Thanks Arliene

Well I had my 3rd fill on (8-6-09) . It went well i have now got 3.9cc in my 10cc band. Found out that i have lost a total of 90 pounds . 24 before surgery and 66 after surgery. I think I am doing great with my band so far and my Doctor is really happy with me . I am starting to fill so much better I don't mind going out and working in the yard anymore I seem to be able to handle the heat a little more now. Before i would go out and just turn and go back in lol now i say outside lol. Arliene

Well today(6-26-09) I am 2 mo. and 5 days out from my lap-band surgery. I think I am doing really good working my band I have lost a total of 73 pounds now. I know that is not normal but i have always been a fast loser .Thing is i would always put the weight back on now i have the Band to help me to keep from doing that. Thank the lord I am really starting to feel bad when I tell people how much i have lost on here. They seem to not think that is not normal for the band and it kind of hurts my feeling. But i have really worked my ass off to get where i am  and to do this for myself not anyone else. I am off of all my meds now so that is a big plus for me and i am enjoying my life more now than ever.I am sorry that i am not normal to some but as long as this works for me i am going to be happy. Well I went for my first fill yesterday (5-28-09) . It was not bad at all never even felt it at all. WOW! I was shocked of that and very happy too. Dr. Nelson came in and said you have done so good with losing weight i am so proud of you and she said it 4 more times before she went out of the room. She also said she was going to make me her star patient lol. I have lost 53 pounds from March tell now. I think that is really good. I thank God every day for my Band. It has helped me so much already I know i got alot more to lose but with his help i can do it . Arliene

Well tomorrow (5-21-09) will be my 1 month lap-band anniversary. I weighed this morning wow!! I am down 49 pounds. I am loving my band more and more each day . I go for my first fill on May 28th. I am ready to get that done, maybe it wont hurt to bad lol. My friend had hers done this week. We had surgery the same day lol she went frist lol. So she got the fill first too lol. She said it was not bad at all. So to anyone who is thinking about getting the band (DO IT) it has been the best thing i have ever done for my life.. Arliene

Well I made it through surgery good. Dr said everything looked great. I came home Wed. (4-22-09) . Today is my third day out I am still sore and i am hurting pretty good in my chest and shoulder more chest then any place I called my Dr. today she said that is normal give it a week to 5 days and I should be feeling better. Here is something funny on the day after my surgery Dr came in my room and said hun why have you not been taking your pain med? I looked at her and said WHAT! I thought i had been i thought it was already in my IV . She said no silly you have to ask for it. So i said give it to me for the road home so she did and i slept all the way home and it is an 2 hour drive lol.. Other than all that I am doing great i am getting better with getting all my stuff in not doing 64 oz yet lol.. But I will !!  Well I will post more later maybe when my chest stops hurting so bad  .. Well I went for my Psyche and my Nutrition Appt. today (3-26-09) .They went really well, both ladys were really nice.After I was done with both of them. I had to get to my next appt with physical therapy. That went really well she said i was doing great with my workouts she said it will help me so much after surgery to get up and moving faster. I also jumped on and weighed when i was at the dr. guess what! I have dropped 6 more pounds I was so happy!! Well that is all I have got for right now. I will post more later.. Arliene

Well I got my Surgery date  on Thursday (3-5-09) It will be April 21, 2009.I go for my Psyche and my Nutrition Appt. on March 26 2009. Then I go for my Support group on April 2. Then I go to my 10 diet class on April 9th they said it will be from 9 am to 2 pm .Then I start my ten day diet on April 11th. Then i go to my POD on April 16th and after all that i will be having my Surgery on April 21st 2009. Then I will start my new life .

Woo Hoo!!!! I got a call at 1:08 today(2-23-09) from my Dr. Office. She told me my Insurance was approved!!!!  My first Dr Apt. is March 5th at 2 pm . I am so happy!!! I will post more as I know it..I would like to thank you all for helping me keep my head up wait for this. You guys are the best....
