My story...where should I begin? I have been overweight my whole life as far back as I can remember...but started becoming obese when I started high school. Since then I have been up and down until now. Tried everything I could possibly think of and then decided to have lap band surgery in 2010. I remember being so excited that I was finally going to be have a somewhat normal life and be able to live my 30s and get married feeling the best I ever had....unfortunately it has been a struggle since then. Then on July 31. 2015 my life began to have purpose again and I started getting the same excitement that I had back in 2010 when I met my surgeon Dr. Kane and he assured me he knew exactly what I needed to get my life back on track for good. I am just getting started with my insurance requirements and hoping to have the DS procedure sometime in the beginning of 2016.
