I'm Betsy's angel - I talked to her husband today and she is doing much better today. No morphine so that really helps! Her fever is also gone which is a blessing. He said she may actually be coming home tomorrow so she much be doing great! Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks to everyone who is posting to her profile - the encouraging words will really help!

Hi Everyone! I saw Bets today and I have to tell you, she's loving that pain med button! She's had a couple of other surgeries in the past and has always had a hard time with the anasthetic (sp?) and this time is no different. She is still heavily sedated but somehow manages to walk on a regular basis! Please pray for her that tomorrow is a better day. I'm guessing that she'll be home on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll keep you posted!

Betsy, congratulations on your decision to have WLS. I too had LAP~RNY on 9/18/02 and it's the best decision I've ever made. May God be with you and your family on this day and welcome to the "losing" side...

I just wanted everyone to know that I am Betsy's Angel and you can email me any time over the next week to check on her status. She's at her preop appointment today and I'll talk to her tonight. As of right now surgery is set for 12 noon tomorrow but may change. I'll let you know. Betsy is my very best friend and I love her dearly. All my prayers are with her.

Betsy~ I read your profile tonite and am so glad for you!! What a struggle and accomplishment at the same time. I wish you an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. God Bless You!
