I'm going on 1 month and 3 days today since surgery.  I've hit a definite stopping point and I'm so upset over it.  I know everyone keeps telling other posters that it will pass, but dealing with it while it does is making me an emotional wreck.  All I can think about is ...did I just pay $14K to lose 25 pounds????  I ate eating and feel terrible when I do.  I'm grouchy all the time with my husband and the kids.  This DAMN scale just won't move!!!! Was it worth it!!!

Tomorrow is my two week follow-up with Dr. Bellenger.  I hope the scale is nice to me!  I'm looking forward to seeing how much less of me there is :o)  Maybe he will tell me I can have some soft food that I can sink my teeth into!! A little sore this morning, but I rode 6.5 miles on my exercise bike last night.  It felt great to be able to work out!!! I would like to be able to do 10 miles by the end of the month.  This journey has been all about setting goals for myself. Next goal is 275 lbs. .... hopefully I can go back to school in August and reach that goal!!

Well I made it to the first day of milk products!  I was so excited when I woke up this morning thinking "yeah" I get to drink milk and protein shakes but ended up disappointed in the vanilla taste.  I'm looking for ways to get that protein in so I'm headed to GNC once again for some advice.

Got on the scale and it read 297.8.....YEAH ME!!!! Hit under 300 pounds finally!!! 

I managed to get a protein bullet down.  It took some doing but I got it in without throwing it up :o) Small accomplishment!!! 

 Surgery went well and I'm home to rest and heal.  Having a heavy feeling in my chest at times so not real sure what that's all about.  I hope it's just gas pains and which they would leave!!

I've managed to eat some jello and drink some crystal lite tea.  I just can't stomach the protein drinks so I'm sending Erick to the store to find some other types that may go down a little bit easier.  Tomorrow will be the last day of clear liquids then on to the milk based products...yumm yogurt and cream of chicken soup!!

It's the night before surgery and I have a bundle of nerves sitting in the pit of my stomach.  God, I hope I'm making the right decision.  How will my life change? Can I live with the changes? How am I going to cook for my family now? Way too much to think about 

My surgery is set for Thursday...just two days away!! I've never had surgery where I was put asleep, so the nerves are a  bit rattled tonight just thinking about it.  All of my pre-op tests came back and look great.  Even the psychologist says that I'm not really crazy...LOL  I'm really looking forward to starting my new life :o)
