Well, I am nervous. I am having surgery on Tuesday, the 29th, and am experiencing so many different emotions.
I am excited to be healthy and thin....excited at the prospect of getting to shop in "normal" stores and not just Lane Bryant...nervous that I could die after/ during surgery and never see my kids again...sad that I couldn't seem to get a grip on my weight by myself...angry at the people who judge someone who is getting this surgery...happy that I have an amazing network of family and friends who are going to be there for me during/ after...amazed at all of the people on Obesityhelp.com that have made the choice to change their lives forever...
There are so many photos and stories on here that are so encouraging and uplifting. Most people who have made the decision to have surgery and have overcome the many obstacles: I am proud of you. All of you on here are beautiful.
***On a side note, I was just talking to my stepMom who weighs a total of 95 lbs soaking wet. She asked me what i was going to do when I lost all this weight. I told her I was going to ask to borrow clothes from her and then hand them back and tell her they are just way too big for me. LOL!
