As with most, I have been overweight all my life.  In High School I was 180lbs wearing a size 16.  It felt normal as I was so well accepted and pretty popular.  I have weighed closed to 270lbs once in my life, I was able to come down a lot, but would go back and forth between 200 and 240 never quite getting below the 2's.  I joined Kaiser Optifast group to and dropped down to 170lbs. I kept it off for a year, however thinking I knew how to deal with divorce, I shoot back up to the 200's before I knew it.  I got myself right back into the program and learned a lot more as to why I eat my stress, emotions, celebrations etc.

So now I am on the journey to Gastric Bypass and using that as a tool, I believe I will be successful.  I have been excercising for the last 15 years of my life, I love to SPIN, and most of the front desk folks at 24 hour Fitness no me.  Many around me would say, "you excercise so much and you don't eat that much".  Little did they know I was a closet eater, unconciously eating is what keeps me at 230 no mater how much I excercise.  I believe I have this under control with Kaiser help.

I weighed in for Gastric Bypass at 250lbs and have dropped 20'bs since I have been in the program and plan to drop 20 more before my surgery.
