This is it just 12 hours before my surgery. I'm so excited and very relaxed eventhough I'm a little worry because I have a sore throat and i don't know if I'm catching a cold or it's just allergies since I've been cleaning a lot and dusting. My eyes are bothering me too, so hopefully it's just allergies and not a cold, because that'll mean that my surgery will be cancelled and that would be horrible and depressing after waiting so long for this day, but I'm willing to face the results tomorrow. Whatever God decides for me I'll do.
I'll keep everybody posted and I'll let you know what happens.
Hopefully TOMORROW WILL BE A NEW BEGINING FOR ME...

Hey Everybody!!!
I'VE BEEN APPROVED AND HAVE A SURGERY DAY!!!!
I am so exited after all the trouble I've been through I'm a step closer to begin a new life.
I've lost 15 pounds on my own following my doctor's instructions and walking a mile six days a week @ a 145 rate, it's awesome.
Today my husband took me out for breakfast then we went to buy a few things that I'm going to be needing for my WLS that has been schedule for Thursday October 4, 2007. I can't believe it's just three weeks away.
I received the letter from my insurance today in the mail, but I already knew because Cheryl from my surgeon's office called me Wednesday and told me the good news. I amazed in less than a week I was approved. I think the insurance was spending a lot of money on my maintenance medication, hahaha.
I'm having the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery and eventhough I'm so excited I'm also a little bit scare, but very positive and relying on God and my surgeons. I have my pre-admission testing on Thursday Sept 20 at 2:30pm and my pre-op exam with my surgeon, Dr Fiallo on Monday October 1st.
All right my friends it's gonna be 'till later. I'll say hi again before my surgery and keep you posted on my progress.

I hope everyone's OK. I'm still waiting on my Health Insurance's approval, but I'm working hard and trying to loose some weight.
I've been going to the YMCA every day and now I'm walking 30 minutes and feeling much better.
This Tuesday I have my first appointment with Mark, he is a personal trainer and will help me design an exercise program or something like that... lol.
I don't know much about what he's going to do, but I know it's going to be fun, CAN'T WAIT!!
I haven't weight myself yet, hopefully I get weight on Tuesday and know if I'm being a good girl.

I'm so excited because yesterday I finally decided to visit the YMCA (after a very long time) and started using the treadmill. I can''t do it outside because I have severe asthma and have a hard time breathing, but thank God for the YMCA. It was hard but my mind is set on my health. Dr. Kerroak told me to walk at least 10 minutes but I went further and walked for 15 minutes nonstop that's GREAT!!!! for someone that hasn't walk long for a while. My back and my feet are bothering me a little but is worth it and I know I'll get use to it.
