Well I'm 30 years old a wife and mother of 4 , about to turn 31 the 24th of this month.
I have always been obese ever since I was little. I can remember when I was 10 I had my appendix removed and the doctor told my mother. It was a difficult surgery to preform due to me being over weight. He said he had to go through an enormous amount of fatty layer before he was able to find it. I was only 10 weighing over 100lbs. Then it just seemed like every year I got older the heavier I became. when I was 16 I weighed 160 and so on. I'm 5'2" so I am short and round. when I was 19 I weighed 188lbs. I remember that like it was yesterday b/c that was the last time I would see the 100's I was pregnant with my son and at the end of my pregnancy I weighed 250lbs. I lost a bit of weight and boom became pregnant with my daughter. I was expecting twins and lost one very early in the pregnancy. My weight sky rocketed to 290lbs. When Kaela was born, I left the hospital weighing 304lbs. I nursed her and tried my hardest to eat right for both of us and lost 35lbs in 6 weeks. Only to regain it. I have since then yo-yo-ed between 275-297lbs. I have seen doctors in Endo. and have tried several fad diets. It's hard for me, I have fibromyalgia and every time I get on a good exercise regimen it never fails I have a huge flare-up that has me down for several months, in pain, extremely tired, and unable to move.  I managed to lose roughly 35lbs for my wedding in October of '07. I was on top of the world weighing 262lbs. I hadn't weighed that in years. Five days before the wedding, I had a car wreck that seriously injured my back and I have been unable to function properly since. The doctors at the pain management clinic have tried injections in my back, RFA procedures and several different medications to try and ease the pain.  It's been a battle the procedures cause me to go into a massive fibro flare and all of the different medications have left me gaining so much weight over this past year that I have now entered into the 300lb range.  Finally, I have been on a combination of medications that have actually curbed my appetite. Just in time for me to start on the latest journey in my life surgery. I have been waiting for this for years ever since Kaela was born that is when they diagnosed me with fibro.  Well it's finally here and I am finally able to move around w/out as much pain. So now, I'm moving to the next stage trying to get some walking in my daily routine before the big day. I have faith that everything will be OK. I have been blessed to receive this gift and I am going to hold on and completely enjoy the ride.
