10 days on the other side

I am doing great! I had some pain from the gas they use to see where they are going and some short qwick pains from my incisions.  The procedure itself was as uneventful as brushing my teeth! Anyone thinking of VGS must go to Dr. Alvarez. I have lost ten pounds! At first my mind wanted to go to chick-fila. After isolating myself alone in the hotel, for three days the head hunger has gone away. You see, I knew before WLS that being alone was going to be the hardest part of this journey. I can  honestly say 90% percent of the reason why I am obese is because I eat when I am alone. Yes, I gained all my wieght after 9:00pm! I wanted to start dealing with how I comfort myself with food right away.  I know this will be an ongoing struggle. At the moment, the most difficult part has been not being able to gulp water like I used to. My new stomach has an automatic shut-off valve!
