Believe!

Wow, it's been a while since I've visited all of you!  LOL  I am doing fabulous and actually amazed my nephrologist on my last visit.  I have morphed metobolically to a very healthy individual and that is what excites me the most.  It was a very special appointment and I will never forget the smile on his face and the genuine caring and congratulatory hug extended to me.  It is nice receive good news and accolades from my physician, my friend.

My VSG was on March 17th and I am approaching my 2 year anniversary already.  Yipee!  Being what society calls "skinny" is an added value as it allows me to do many things that I simply couldn't do before. The increased energy along with stamina allows me to be physically active, and that is a major change.   I feel good as a "normal sized indivisual."  I would never have believed and I would be in single digit sized clothing. The strangest thing is that when I look back at old pics of myself my brain really doesn't comprehend that that was me.  I know that sounds wierd because it is. 

 I am much more confident, but with that said, life continues to bring many challanges and always will.  So, bring it world, I'm ready now!

To all of you considering WLS, I encourage you to believe and act on your desire.  YOU ARE WORTH IT!
