I eat when I'm happy. I eat when I'm sad. I eat when I'm angry. I eat when I'm hungry. I eat when I'm nervous. I eat when I'm depressed. I eat when I'm lonely. I eat when I'm having a pity party. I eat when I celebrate. I eat when there's food in front of me.
The truth is I don't taste food, unless it's bad. I think I have deadened my taste buds. For real.
Now I don't care what I eat, when I eat, how much I eat. This why I think NOW is the time for me to have WLS! So I am doing it.
In this two week pre-op diet I'm drinking 2 meal replacement shakes. I can't get the after taste off my tongue. It's been there since Monday when I drank the 1st one, and seems to thicken and gets stronger with each day.
Any one know what to do about this??
And before you ask...YES, I brush my teeth and my tongue 2-3 times a day!!!
Another thing I need to confess on here. I don't always walk every day. I know I was told to, but my hip is SO bad right now it just flat hurts to even try. I have been trying to walk. Are there any suggestions on motivational tapes that might help me???
