Hi , I'm Carolee. I'm waiting for a surgery date. They said it will be next month some time. I have grown children and even grandchildren and decided I've tried long enough to loose weight on my own and can't do it. Also I've always been working or taking care of someone and now it's time to take care of myselft. My big saying is "I want to live some before I die".
I'm still active and love to do sports but my weight holds me back. So this is the time. I've finished all my pre-surgery requirements so am just waiting and trying to get some weight off before surgery.
I grew up in Oakland Ca. and moved to Oregon in my 20's and love it here. I'm a country girl at heart. I love animals and camping, sking, horses, water sports. I read the message board in Oregon often and have found it to be very informative. Thats it, O, My highest weight was 280 , I'm now 264, so the waiting game begins. Bye, Carolee
