"The hospital itself is located in a nice area of Scottsdale, with hotels close by for those that are coming into the area from out of town. Everyone is very friendly at the hospital and it is very clean. The parking was the only challenge, they need to improve upon that Sometimes you have to park quite a ways from the entrance. I would recommend this hopital to anyone."
"I first met Dr. Blackstone right after my husband's lap-band surgery in November. I was so surprised to meet this very upbeat, down to earth, much admired woman who just happend to be our surgeon. My admiration for her only increased over time. I saw first hand what a careful, not willing to take risks, with her patients, doctor she is. Her office is well run, they are in the process of bringing on some other surgeon's at the moment. This will take some of the pressure off Dr. Blackstone, I don't know how she keeps up She is extremely high energy and you can tell she takes living a healthy life style seriously. She goes to a gym before she goes into surgery to make sure she's in top form. What dedication. Her aftercare program is one of the best, it is very structured, her office staff is almost on the same level of dedication as she is. I would have to say if you went into the surgery not very well informed, it would be your fault. Eerything is clearly laid out for you to consider. A nice binder is given to each patient at one of the pre-op classes for you to refer to along your journey. I always knew I was in excellent hands as far as a surgeon, she just also happened to have an excellent bedside manner as well. If she's not the best in the country, she's awfully close to the top in both my husbnd's and my opinion."
