I think there was one year of my entire life that I can look back on and say that I was happy with my weight and at the time I wasn't. I've always been overweight, even as a kid. My weight has held me back from doing so much in my life. I've always felt so self conscious with low self esteem. I've always felt like I was preparing for my life to start. I feel like this surgery has come to me at the perfect point in my life. I'm 32, married, 2 dogs, no kids and I'm ready to be the person I've always wanted to be. I'm ready to shed the weight and do all the things I've wanted to do, but was afraid of being embarassed by my weight. I'm ready to start my new healthy life!!
