Hello. My name is Judy and I am like most others here. I have struggled with my weight most of my life. I started gaining weight in the 2nd grade and haven't stopped since. I have tried everything possible and have failed 99% of the time. My cardiologist suggested this to me back in September just a month after I had open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve. I didn't start giving it real serious thought until after the first of the year. I couldn't imagine putting myself through another major surgery. But after talking to a couple of my other doctors and several people who have had the proceedure done, I decided that this is the best option for me. It has been a very informative and interesting journey so far. I look forward to getting to know alot more of you wonderful, supportive people along the way.
