Slow but steady with stalls

Aug 08, 2014

So, now am.about 6 weeks out. Its beentrial and error. Finally past pureed foids, onto soft and regular diet soon

The dreaded 3 week stall lasted 8 days, and was so exasperating,  but reading in support groups helped. I knew it was normal *** the body catching up afyer rapid weight loss and the trauma of surgery.

It was a pound a day until the 3 week mark. Nowit ,s about a pound every 2 or 3 days. I'm trying to boost my.metabolism with long walks and playing with my toddler grandson, but i do get weak.

The weakness comes from not enough protein. i try so.damn hard to drink those protein drinks (and yes, have tried every kind under the sun).

40 days solid of protein drinks makes anyone sick. The saving grace has been the addition of vitamins. i added biotin to help when the inevitable hair loss kicks in.

Im.learning what i can and cannot digest..obviously not pork ribs or breakfast sausage yet ~ dumped big time on both. YUCK.

i do ok with tuna, yogurt, eggs, tomatoes and even watermelon.

Hungry and sore! lost the 7 lb i gained during surgery.

Pain from extra tissue surgeon cut through from my 2008 hysterectomy.  Read hunger is fairly normal...butalso read hunger pain nerves are cut during surgery,  so most people dont feel hunger....?

In less than 12 hours I will be on the "other side".

Sleep isnt coming easy. I need to be awake in 7 hours, but

but the anxiety and HUNGER is driving me crazy!

I SO look forward to losing weight without that

terrible hunger bug! It always does me in.  Keeping a balanced perspective, with realistic

goals is my focus now. .  Say a prayer for me
