My first FILL!

Ok, so for any of you that are afraid...BE NOT AFRAID! It isn't a big deal! I had my FIRST fill today and things went quite well! It is amazing how 1/2 cc can make a difference in the fluid going through! I was told by my doctor that I had 2 cc already in from surgery (which I didn't know) and he added 3 cc more! I now can say that I have 5 cc in my 10 cc band! I hope to have a nice bit of restriction but not too much! VERY happy with my success thus far ~ 51 pounds in less than 5 months and 35 inches! The walking I am doing is DEFINITELY helping so I hope to continue!

Now..note to self...when they say CLEAR/FULL LIQUIDS for 24 hours post-fill..they MEAN IT! I did well all day with liquids but then tried some chili tonight! Although I chewed and chewed....I am STILL feeling like I have indigestion (and it has been 5 hours since dinner)...tomorrow is a FULL LIQUID day!
