I am just getting nervous. I have less than a week. Next monday is the big day. I am going to try different protein drinks today and tomorrow. Is there any food advice for after surgery?

~~~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY~~~~~~ (Everything in our lives happens for a purpose and that purpose is to prepare us) May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery. Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Less than a month away!!!!! getting exciting isnt it? Next time youre up here for an appointment, let me know we could catch lunch or something.... I can eat CHICKEN!!!! I am soooooo excited about this, most people cant handle chicken for quite a while. Its my saving grace for getting in protien! Drop me a line next time youre up here, im off work still for a bit. did you know we get put on a 20# lift restriction for 6 wks post surgery! Of course HR said that wouldnt fly. I'd get your Short term dis. lined up now so you dont have to use ALLLLL your vac. and sick leave. Hopefully you've talked to Diana and Jessica in HR about your FML. I know you kept asking me, and im a horrible person for not getting back to you sooner, but yeah, FML and Short Term Disability. That should do it! Okay well, talk to you soon, ~Peace~ Amy

Just poppin in to say HI! So, when is your date? My surgery went smooth except my BP sky rocketed....No worries though, but im tellin you, gettin in the protien has been tough!!!! Especially since im now dairy intollerant, not just lactose, but all dairy...Not to scare you. Anyhow, let me know your date and ill try to come see you in the hospital... Best of luck to you, Im sure insurance will approve you pretty quick. They approved me in like a day and a half. Well I hope this is the right Courtney, either way, best wishes and the emotional roller coaster is a real killer. ~Peace~ Amy
