I am a 34 year old female. I have been obese my entire life, over a year ago I decided to start my journey to a healthier lifestyle. January 2015 I made an appointment with a bariatric surgeon. It took over a year to do all of the things needed for my insurance to approve the surgery.
April 11, 2016 I had a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. I am just a week out. I joined ObesityHelp for support and to support others on this same journey.
