Slow and Steady Progress

Today I am keenly aware that refined sugar and white flour are the triggers for my compulsive overeating and cravings.  Since Lent began, I have refrained from eating anything made from refined sugar or white flour and I can honestly say that over time the cravings do dissipate.  I've lost close to 25 pounds and try to swim at least three times per week for exercise.  I feel much better about myself.  And I feel in control.
