My husband and I are going through this journey together. My surgery is scheduled for January 10, 2011 and my husband is in the process of scheduling his.
We have both had our EDG, psych evaluation and nutritionist. Our health insurance has an exclusion as to anything weight related.
We have been married for 2 1/2 years. I have two step children. One of whom lives with us.
I have struggled with my weight since I hit puberty. I am looking forward to being able to walk without losing my breath, to sit comfortably in a chair with side arms, to being able to tie my own shoes without a struggle...simple things in life. I am also looking forward to having energy so I can enjoy the adventures I so crave to have.
