Well as I posted last week I have been approved by OHIP to have a breast reduction and panniculectomy , I have heard some good and bad reactions to me having this so soon !!! Yes I'm almost 8 months out but I' am just about at goal 12 lbs to be exact and when I spoke to my family Dr. He was the one who said he was going to refer me to a plastic Surgeon.
Back in December I went for my first consult appointment , not much was done we spoke for a few mins and he said " when you are ready just come back to me and we will send in the application for OHIP approval and go from there" Well to my surprise the referral took just one week and his office called me and said come on in next wee and the Dr. with discuss what will go on and we can set a surgery date !!!!

I realize some of you have been denied and I'm sorry to hear that , but I can't tell you why my was and why it came back so quickly ,Maybe it just depends on the surgeon and what it puts down on paper that he sends in .

I have been FAT my entire life and having this tool inside me has changed my life and I can't begin to explain what it has mean for not only in body but in mind also ... It took me a very long time to realize that being FAT was not healthy and it was time to change that !!!!! My first step was talking to my family Dr. , the second was to research Gastric Bypass Surgery . I knew the more I read the more I knew this was for me , so I got up off my FAT ass and did something about it !!!I'm now 160lbs a weight I don't think I can ever remember being and it the most awesome feeling !!!!
 
I Love to get dressed in the morning knowing that everything I try on isn't gonna end up on the floor or clear across the room , because I hated how I looked  because I was always trying to make sure all the Fat was covered and that my shirts were long enough to cover my Belly. Well that time is here , I no longer worry about any of that because I love my new look ( well all accept for the hanging skin on my Belly and that fact that yes I lost weight in my boobs but not enough to really notice ) My boobs started off post surgery at 44 -46  DDD , they are now about a 38 DD  but sag so bad that when we had snow I thought I have frost bite on my nipples from dragging on the pavement ( oooopppsss was that TMI LOL )

Well enough babbling about me , as soon as I hear my dates and know where I stand I will post everything .

Christmas 2008 - 251 lbs                Christmas 2009 - 166 lbs   size 12 ( Now 160 lbs Size 10 )

Well for those who don't know me my name is Diana and I'am45 years old and 5 months out of surgery with Doctor Taylor at Barix Mich..My start weight was 251 lbs and as of this morning it is 175.5 lbs :) 
 I can't begin to tell you what this man has done for me to safe my life . I hemed and hawed about whether or not this surgery was right for me for many many months , then I spoke with my Amazing family doctor and new it was.In May of this year I went for my consult with Dr. Taylor and by June 11th I had my surgery ( I know quick eh ) I may not have lost as much weight as some at 5 months but Im very proud of the weight I have lost 75.5 lbs !!!!

I battled everyday to force myself to eat because soemdays Im just not hungry and then there are days Im starving , but I take oneday at a time and try to get in all my water and protiens and vitamins.

Im really not much of a blogger but will try to update as much as I can !!!
