Well i began gaining weight when I was 5 and just kept going. When I was sixteen I topped the scale at 316 and my Parents put me on a Doctors supervised diet. I lost 130 pounds but put it back on. When I reached the age of 22 I was 300 pounds I went on to lose 170 pounds I yo yoed with about 50 pounds of that for the next 8 years. Yo Yoed so much lost my gallbladder at the age of 28. But at the age of 30 I was blessed with a lovely daughter during that pregnacy I balloned up to 280 and kept going. In fact I kept going untill today at 433 pounds. not that in the last 10 years I haven't tried everything to stop or lose the the ever growing weight I put on. I did but it would not come off like it used to. I got married this April and I have a wonderful husband that I want to grow old with. He has a slight weight problem nothing like mine but we want to start getting healthy. One of the things that has brought me to the program that I am in is that I have to take nutrition classes that even after I am used to the bypass will help me keep the weight off for life by helping me learn to eat healthy.
