Finally starting to feel a little better. It is been more difficult that I thought (but I really did not think it was going to be anything).....I ended up in the ICU the first night because they had trouble getting the tube in my throat to breathe.  It was only as a precaution. I still came home the next evening. I just have not felt well.  I am having no problem getting in my 64 ounces of water but the 60 grams of protien is another matter.  I am averaging between 40-50, So I am still working on this one. I have lost 22 lbs from May the 18th until today. That is awesome.  Just wish I felt better.  Maybe soon.

I am hoping to have surgery on the 26th of May.  I have had the psy eval, lung doc clearance, heart doc clearance, blood work (I was wondering if I would have any left), seen the nutrionist, and have an appt with the surgeon on Tuesday.  Since I am self pay (actually someone is paying for me) then I am hoping the process will go rather quickly.  I am nervous about waking up after surgery.  I do not like that feeling.  I also hate the cather thing and am hoping they take it out quickly. Other than that I am ready.  I am going to see if they will give me something for my nerves the day before surgery.  I am hoping anyway.  I appreciate your prayers!
