I would like to talk with people about anything they want to share about their surgery experience and beyond. I love life, laughter, and like to listen. Not that I am the born listener, but while I email with people, at least I cannot interrupt them until they have said everything they want to say.

I am somewhat apprehensive about the life after surgery. I love sugar almost more than my family. If I were to choose who or what I want to spend my time with, I would probably choose sugar more often than not. I would like to hear from people out there who totally understand this kind of thinking. Does the sugar drive abate somewhat? I can be a very unkind person when I haven't had sugar in a while and boy can I be truly unfriendly, when I have had it.

I want to get away from diabetes, high blood pressure, and even higher cholesterol. While I have good advise for 99 % of the world's population, I don't seem to take it too seriously when I give it to myself. It is kind of like the Dr. who cannot heal himself or the shoemaker whose c hildren run around barefoot.

Help! :)
