As of October 3rd I have 15 more days before my initial consultation with my surgeon. I can't wait! I have already had my sleep study (back in 2004) and have met with my PCP and discussed my eligibility for the surgery. Dr. M has given me his support. I've asked my therapist for a letter stating that she thinks I would be a good candidate and she has already provided that. I've spoken with my psychiatrist about his willingness to provide support and he has stated that he is willing, but wants to be sent a questionnaire.
So the waiting has started. I had seen a neutritionist starting in July and have been on her WL plan since then. I've had a few slipups and stalls, but have lost 10 pounds so far.
