5 years out

I am feeling super after 5 years.  I  have not experienced any problems.  Now, trying to lose about 15 more pounds.  I have gained a little. Very thankful for my doctors, nurses, and all those who helped be accomplished this goal.

After 4 years. . . .

4 years and going.  Well, it has been a journey.  I am really settled and maintaining.  Now, I want to lose 14 pounds.  That would put me at 175. It is not easy watching your weight and health, especially once you can eat almost any thing you want. There are still limits on the type of foods and how much I can eat, but it almost regular eating again.  This is what I have to watch.  So, I am going on a mission to lose 14 to 15 pounds.  Hopefully, my the summer I would have reached my goal.   What are you doing?

I hope all is  well.  I reached my goal weight now I am gonna try to take off about 10 to 15 more pounds.  I want my BMI out of obese status.  I believe it will be done in about 6 months.

Protein, protein, protein

 Oh, oh, oh.  I just can't get all of it in.  I really try everyday to think about protein.  I learned that it can build our muscle mass, which could help some of the sagging or loose skin.

 Hey, can anyone tell me how you are doing and what you are doing with the sagging or loose skin?  Like the skin on the arms, the back area, and the inner thighs it needs some help.  

Back to the protein:  I'm gonna try to take at least one protein drink a day.  If it is just one scoop of the it.  I have only been able to tolerate the Nectar Whey Protein- Roadside Lemonade.  I love the "Oh, Yea" Bars, but it is so high.  But they are so good.  After a while you just get  burned out on these products.  You get tired of tired new products and you find out that you don't like it.   Well, that is life. So, I will keep it going.  I am continuing to truth in the Lord and enjoy life.  However, protein is my focus now.  Oh yea, don't forget the B12.

 Yea! I'm finally down by 100.  Thanks Dr. Barker.  Thank you Heavenly Father that you have protected me to reach this goal. I can do more, move freely, think better.  Now, I just need to get me a husband who can love me for who I am and love the Lord for who He is.  Happy Losing OH family.

82 lbs. down and counting (slowly)

 Wow, this has been a real ride.  Looking back over everything it is so awesome.  The weight is coming off and I am not having any problems thanks be to God.  I have truly realize how important for the protein intake to be on point.  I am committing myself to making sure I get the right amt. of protein daily.  I ordered the Calcet Bites today and the Oh Yea! bars.  I will tell you how it going with these new products.  I hear they are good.  I know I will only eat the Calcet Bites (Lemon) as a treat for Calcium.  It taste like a lemon cake.  But oh well, I will be blogging how it turns out.  

It is very hard for me to keep a food log, but I am going to have to, cause I seem to be struck at 206.  I may have to drop down to eating what I ate in the beginning.  I want to lose a bit more.  Guess what?  I tried cooking with tofu.  It wasn't bad at all.  You can even tell it was there.  My boys ate like they wasn't gonna eat anymore.  Days later when I told them, my oldest tried to say he didn't like it.  So why did he eat 2nds and 3rds.  

Well, I am getting sleepy.  So good night.

 I hope all is well with everyone.  My entire family is trying to eat healthy.  My son is only 24 yrs. old and he is having heart problems.  We are all working on eating with no salt to low sodium.  No more than 2000 mg a day is what we were told.  We are really trying to keep it lower than that.  If you have some great recipes or good suggestion to cooking food with favor and taste, I will appreciate it very much.

6 months out and still loving me.

What's really going on with everybody?  I am proudly speaking about my 75 lbs. off.  I enjoy my new look.  Just trying to really wear the right stuff on this body.  Clothes are nice to shop for now.  I don't have to buy in the big, big, girl sections.  It is a good feeling.  I want to eat more stuff, but can't .  So what the heck.  I had my day in pigging out.  It's a new day and time  and a new me.

Lost 58 lbs. and doing great.  Exercising and working the pounds off.
I'm still slowly adding meat to my diet.  Mostly fish, cooked on top of the stove streamed with a little seasoning, onion, and "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter".

Well, yall- I am feeling super.  My back doesn't hurt anymore.  I can wear my high heel shoes again.  I can swing my hips a little now.  I am off one of my high blood pressure pills already.  That's Super!  I am trying very hard to get all my liquids in everyday,take the vitamins, and do my exercise daily .  I am just happy to be me at this time and I am glad I am making these life-changing changes.  To everyone who is still trying to decide- make steps to help yourself.  If you are like me for years I was so concern for others until I failed myself.  But now, thank God it's my time.
