My name is Dawn and I am 45 yrs old from NJ. I struggled with my weight most of my adult life, but kept it under control for the most part with WW, LA weight loss, south beach.. atkins.. you name it. I eventually lost the battle and gave in, with my weight zooming to close to 250pds. At 5 feet 8 in I can carry alot but come on, 250?? What the hell was I doing? I finally got up the nerve to go see a surgeon. I saw 3 before I found Dr. Dobruskin. I knew we clicked and I liked her immediately. I'm an XRay tech so you gotta work to get me to like a doctor. We started working together in July and I finally had my sleeve on Oct 11. I am home recovering right now, with no regrets about doing this. I owe it to myself to be the best most healthy person that I can be, and with the gift of the sleeve. Hope you all do well on your journey and never look back..
