My name is Sarah. I am 24 years old and have been overweight most of my life. My mom had WLS when I was about 12 and I have been thinking about doing it since I was 20. I have thought long and hard about this decision and finally decided in the spring of 2014 I was going to commit and take the steps necessary to have WLS. I decided on Roux-en-Y because of the research, statistics, and personal knowledge of what to expect since it's the same kind my mom had. I am very exited to start this new life!!! December 15, 2014 is the first day of my new life!
