Lucy - What an exciting time for you. One more day to go. I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming surgery. You have the best possible doctors in the entire world. I know this for a fact because I just had my surgery with Drs. Ibrahim and Vaimakis on Dec. 2 and I feel great. May you have a successful, uneventful start to your new life.

Happy 4th of July everyone !!!!!.I am now 6 months post op and I am hovering between 162-163 right now.I still can't believe I started this journey at 225 6 months ago.Almost all of my labs are in the normal range..even my liver function is normal. However, I am experiencing a problem with my blood pressure.Unfortunately, my BP is still high and I am and have been taking Inderal for that.My previous internist in NJ told me that I will probably have high blood pressure no matter what I weigh. The problem now is that my pulse is ranging in the 40's at times.I had to go to the ER because of dizziness.I have an appt with a DR that is a cardiologist and an internist on Monday.I am sure he will change my meds. I think that the meds I am taking are probably too strong for me since I have lost weight. My depression comes and goes as it has all of my life and I just learn to deal with it.I am adjusting to living in Nevada, but I miss my kids.Other than that..life is good:) I will update again after I see the Dr on Monday. Good luck to all pre and post ops.I thank all of you for your support.

Hi Lucy. In a weird coincidence, I was thinking of you yesterday and wondering if you were okay, then BOOM, this morning there was your post. Glad to see you are doing well and only 30 lbs from your goal!! Keep on taking good care of yourself and keep us updated as to your progress.

I am now 5 months post op and have lost 57lbs.I am down to 168 and have 38 more to go to get to goal.I am feeling pretty good except for the tiring easily thing.I recently moved to Nevada and I realized the other day that I could not find my B12.So I had to order more. I think my hair loss is slowing down too. I am slowly finding my way around with the help of my fiance. Next month I will go for my 6 month labs to make sure everything is ok.I would like to thank all of the wonderful people on this site that welcomed me to Nevada when I posted that I moved here from NJ.Thats it for now...I will keep you updated as time goes on.God bless all pre and post ops:))

Congrats Lucy on your recent success! Look up Sheryl Titone when you get to Vegas. She is post op also, and is a hoot! In fact there are several AMOS folks there. Here's to your continued journey being just as successful as this 1st 3 mos! hugs and prayers....
