"I have never felt more comfortable talking about my weight problem. Dr Waits is a wonderful man. He takes time to answer all your questions and Listen to what you have to say. I had my first consult on Jan 4th and Karen had my letter out the next day to the insurance company. Karen has really been a big help. Dr. Waits spoke with me alone then he spoke with everyone together that had a appointment that day. He is just the best. He explained the procedure and what would come after. He really stresses the fact that this is not a cure but a helping hand to a successful ending. He explains to you that Northside is a really good hospital and that they take good care of you after surgery. His tool to get you walking day of surgery is you ge the tube out of your nose.

Dr Waits is a kind and gentle man. He is the best support other than your family. He shows the upmost concern and care for his patients. He comforted my mother as well as me before surgery and thats the kind of thing you need going into a surgery that you are about to have. I would recommend Dr Waits to everyone who is considering this surgery and canhave him do it. He was by the hospital everyday to check on you plus he calls about every four hours to see if they are doing the right things for you. GREAT MAN!
