Had LVSG with robotic assist on 8/23.  Up and walking.  Woke on 8/24 in more pain, lots more pain.  Leak test positive, back in to surgery for repair.  Now have a drain and a feed tube, NG tube in my nose, IV and steady drip of "Vital" liquid supplement.  8/25 Foley cath was removed.  8/26, feeling a little better, no more pain meds, up and walking a bit.  Tube from my nose is removed.  8/27, chest xray done. 8/28 "Vital" drip stopped and began feeing through the feed tube.  Starting to feel bad again.  8/29 Feeding is making me ill...suspect Dumping Syndrome.  8/30 after fighting with the hospital about the delivery of supplies, allowed to go home.  9/1  Dumping syndrome is bad, have a lie down for an hour after feeding for some of the symptoms to subside but my head still feels fuzzy.  Doc says, stop the Vital, switch to H20, Crystal light and protein powders, through the tube.  Feeling better.  Have trouble breathing/sleeping but that's getting better day by day.  Tried to mix my chewable vitamin in a feeding but that makes my breathing feel weird.  Have appointment with the Doc tomorrow...hope to have drainage tube removed and start on clears by mouth.
