I am a mother of 2 great kids. They are Ashlee 12 & Justyn 8. I've spent my whole life being overweight, and I finally got tired of being "tired". I want to do more things with my children before they grow up. I don't want to miss out of the fun things either. I am tired of being fat. This surgery was the best thing that I have done for myself. I am excited to be on the loosing side finally. I just can't wait to see how much I loose. I didn't find this website until after my surgery. So that is why I don't have any pre op stuff.
I work as a data system administrator for the Head Start Program. I also am the pee-on at my work and do alot for everyone else. I had a few years of college but still need to get 4 more classes for my associate...(which shouldnt be hard) I would have 2 associates in computer science and technology. I have been married since 1993. Me & my dh are alright...we do fight alot but I just deal. I have a very big family.... 6 siblings----2sisters, 4 brothers, I also have 14 nieces and nephews...and also 4 great neices and nephews... I still have my mom== who is truly the most amazing women I know... But in 1999 I lost my father..
This is just a little intro to my life.

9/23/2005-Released from hospital
10/03/2005-First Dr. Appointment down 14lbs
10/03/2005-Released to go back to work
10/05/2005-Went back to work
10/17/2005-Went back to Doctors down 20lbs

10/31/2005-And I am down 28lbs
I am so excited to see what the months to come are. I make sure I get my protein everyday. I think so far there was 2 days that I was close but didn't have the 60 grams. My clothes are fitting a little different and my rings feel loose.

11/07/2005-I am down 32lbs today. It felt so good getting on the scale and seeing those numbers. I am so excited I cant wait to lose more. I feel like I am gonna fail and have to go back to weighing as much as I did before...nothing seems real to me yet

11/13/2005-I am down 33lbs today.. only one pound from last week.......eekkkk...not so good..need to do more walking going to the doctor this week and will find out if its time for me to go to the gym.

12/27/2005-Well Christmas is finally over and all those tempting cookies are in my past......I am down approx..43lbs. i gues i am averaging about 10 a month

1/31/06-Well i finally got under 200...:)....I am at around 195-196 some days the scale plays games with me...but its good..I haven't lost anything in about 2 weeks but i will not be sadden..

2/13/06- Today is my Birthday....I am down to 191lbs...And my shoe size is also smaller from a 7 to a 6½ whoo hoo.....Feeling better


3/6/06-Today I am at 188, I haven't been loosing hardly anything I guess i am at a plateau again, I am getting tired of this but guess it comes with it . that is 60lbs...I am happy about that but It has slowed down and I don't like it.
On the 2nd of March I went to My main man's concert, Kid Rock, It was in Pittsburgh.... He is soooo awesome.. His concerts totally Rock.. This was my 4th Concert seeing just him... I always say when I grow up I am going to marry this man. :) my dh don't always like that.


4/6/06-I guess I should post so everyone can see my progress even though Its not the best......this morning I weighed 183. That is 5lbs in one month....oh well I just got to keep trying..

5/8/06-Toaday I am 176. Thats good. I now down 72lbs. Whoo hoo
6/19/06- I am at 172. slowwwwwing down

7/11/06- I am only to 170 on good days...But I am glad to say I got to go to Kennywood 2 weeks ago (amusement park) although I didnt ride everything I could out of fear :) .... I could have if I wanted too... I always used to read the weight limits...I would be like no I just don't want to ride it... but now.. I could have if I wanted to. I didn't want to get on a ride and the people say "sorry mam your too big for this ride"... so I just avoided them...Also I wasn't tired at all.. and we walked all day... My sister who weighs like 125 was tired and so were all the kids.... but not me...that was amazing for me...Usually i am complaining that I am tired and my feet hurt but not this time... So this is the best.
