Feb. 2/07 - 3 months post-op update!!!!!!

It truly is hard to believe 3 months have passed!  Since my 3rd fill on January 18th.................I am finally losing weight!!

Today I had my 3rd fill...........now am up to 2 cc in my 4 cc band.  Today is Jan. 28 - since that fill I am down 7 lbs.  I have good restriction.........I can eat 4 oz. solid protein and 1/2 c. veggies.............and am satisified!  I have prayed for this to happen!  I am losing weight comfortably now.........I don't have to focus so hard ....I can now go 5-6 hours without thinking about food!  Life is good............I JUST LOVE MY BAND!!    

8 Weeks Post Op - 2nd Fill - 01/04/07 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year! I HAVE UPDATED MY PICTURES - 2 MONTHS POST OP - DOWN 17 LBS. Today I received .5cc, now I have a total of 1.5 cc in my band.
 

6 Weeks Post Op and First Fill - 12/14/06

You can see once I started back onto whole food I did gain 6 lbs. However, I did have my first fill on 12/14/06 and am doing very well!  I was given 
1 cc in my 4 cc band.  I do have some restriction - very pleased with that.  I go back January 4/07 to have my second fill.

Four Weeks Post-op

It is so hard to believe 4 weeks have passed!  I am feeling great!!  I have lost 25 lbs. to date and a total of 10".  I am looking forward to getting my first fill on 12/14!  I am enjoying eating whole food again.  I don't feel to restricted right now which I am told is normal.  I just try to make good choices!!  Lots of water and walking...keeps me busy!!

 

 

Three Weeks Post Op

Wow! It is hard to believe 3 weeks have already passed!  To date I have lost 21 lbs. and I do have a lot of energy!  I am overjoyed with the fact that I can sleep on my stomach again!!  Small gain but I am excited.  I took my measurements....it has been a month since I have done that.  I have lost a total of 8".  I am on soft pureed food this week then I can go to regular food!  I am looking forward to that.  I am back to walking 3 miles a day with my husband and I feel great!!
 
 

Two Weeks Post-Op

I couldn't be happier with my progress thus far!  I am only two weeks out post-op and doing great!  My primary physician ran some blood tests on me and the results that came back were really exciting.  My triglycerides were 261 and  they are now 137.  My cholesterol was 228 and they are now 182.  I tried for over 2 years to get these results.  It is amazing to me only being out 2 weeks from having the Lap band surgery and 15 lbs. lighter it could have such a dramatic impact on my blood work!!!
