This is my 10 year out post.

I’m still so happy with this surgery! It wasn’t a magic pill...but it was my tool to save my own life! 

The day before surgery I weighed 282, and busting out of size 28... I was 45...at my highest weight I was over 300 (don’t know exactly, my scales didn’t go that far) Today...almost 10 years later, I’m at 142..and wearing size 6. In December 2008 I had to practically crawl up stairs...Now...stairs aren’t a challenge, or I should say a total fear... I haven’t had any surgery to get rid of excess skin. I’m just happy to be alive and enjoy life again,
