Here I am...10 years later..........

So here I am...10 years later and a weight gain of about 60 pounds.  I maintained my weight for a long time until....I had my right lung removed.  I had pneumonia that went undiagnosed for 5 mos.  I ended up in ICU on life support.  I had a stroke, coded and many other things.  After my initial recovery it was discovered that I had some memory loss.  I have NO memory of my RNY surgery.  As I was recouping- my daughter said--how are you able to eat so much?  I didn't understand what she meant by that comment.  After about 4 mos she told me- you know you had RNY surgery.  After my lung surgery I have been able to eat just about anything that I want and in any amount that I want.  I am going to start this new year off with a bang and go back to my pre-op diet and go from there.  Liquids only today.  Thhis is the first step in a journey.
